LIBRARY

The school library is a welcoming place for study and reading. DMI St. Joseph Global School has both printed as well as audio-visual materials. There are plenty of books, encyclopedias, picture books, activity books, dictionaries. The library has books on literature, novels, scientific discoveries and inventions and so on.

Library Rules and Regulations

  • The Library will be kept open from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. on all working days.
  • Readers (students) desirous of using the library at any other time (other than the allotted periods) may do so between 4.00 p.m. & 5.00 p.m.
  • Readers should not write upon, damage or make any mark on any book or manuscript.
  • No tracing or mechanical reproduction shall be made without the permission of the librarian.
  • If any book in a set is damaged, the whole set will have to be replaced.
  • Readers will be allowed to take only loose sheets of paper and School Hand Book with them inside the Library for writing purposes.
  • Before leaving the library room, the member must satisfy as to whether the book(s) lent to him/her is (are) in good condition. Reporting later otherwise, he / she will be held responsible for the replacement of the book(s).
  • Silence should be strictly observed in the Library.

SCIENCE LAB

The School has well equipped science laboratory. Students are encouraged to use the laboratory to learn through experiments. This helps the students to deviate from rote learning and enriches their thinking ability and problem solving skills.

MATHS LAB

It is a place where students can learn and explore various mathematics concepts and verify various mathematical facts and theorems using variety of activities and it is well equipped with necessary kits and tools. It provides an opportunity to the students to understand and internalize the basic mathematical concepts through concrete objects and situations.

COMPUTER LAB

We have well designed and equipped computer lab run by qualified faculty, with one-on-one access, which means there is one computer for each child.

We have invested in new ERP software which would further raise teaching-learning to contemporary technological standards.
