We follow the CBSE norms of examination
We assess the students through conducting class test, monthly test, periodical assessment, semester examination and evaluation.
The academic year is divided into two terms term 1 (April to September) and term 2 (October to March). In each term there will be an internal assessment for 20 marks and terminal examination for 80 marks. The internal assessment will be based on a periodical test carrying 10 marks, notebook works carrying 5 marks and subject enrichment activities carrying 5 marks. A student shall score a minimum of 27 out of 80 in the terminal examinations and 33 out of the total 100 marks.
There will be three periodical assessments throughout the academic year each for 80 marks and all together aggregated into 20 marks considered to be internal marks on the basis of 10 marks from periodical assessments, 5 marks from notebooks work and 5 marks from subject enrichment activities. The annual examination is for 80 marks in each subject on the entire portion considered to be external. The marks obtained out of 20 (internal) and 80 (external) put together for 100 marks is recorded as the performance of the student in the respective subject and graded accordingly. Grade X students have to appear for BOARD EXAMINATION at the end of the Acdemic Year.
